Popular with locals and family-friendly this is a beautiful beach on the North Shore of Oahu. Can get a bit crowded so get there early or be patient for a parking spot.

Easy entry for snorkeling. Little shallow at first so watch your knees but then gets deeper until it drops off. Good amount of tropical fish and we saw 6 green sea turtles within 1 hour of snokeling.

I planned a circle island tour for my family and turtle spotting on the North Shore was our first stop. The original plan was to drive to Laniakea for turtle spotting, but after reading all the reviews about how crowded Laniakea gets, parking challenges and...More

Nice family friendly beach park. Calm water in the summer and good surf in the winter. The Triple Crown Surf comp.s start here before moving to Sunset and Pipeline.

Big beach, lots of room, places to park and facilities to use. Snorkeling very good. A little boogie boarding, but surf not up in July.

Fun place to hang out on the beach. not much place that's safe for swimming, but lots of sand to just lounge around and watch the locals do their thing

We came expecting more waves but found that summer is off season for the big waves and surfers! But we had young children so it was perfect for them to enjoy! I would recommend water shoes since there are rocks in the water!

We rented a couple SUPs and took them up the river a couple times. Great experience and a relatively calm surf during the summer. It'd be nice if there were more vendors near the beach park.

I am here now, Sunday at 11am. Not crowded seems like more of a local beach area. Haleiwa Ali beach is part of it and it's smaller and less crowded. Plenty of parking, bathrooms, showers, lifeguards. Clean beach, good Sandy water entry. All good just...More

Nice beach park to have a relaxing day if you can find parking. Ocean is nice with some wave action. Gets crowded. Has restrooms and showers. Better to go Alii beach side.
