I suspect that this is were a lot of the local Haleiwans go for a swim. Very kid friendly, calm waters, clean beach. Ample free parking on the beach.

We wanted to jump into the water so we came to visit this beautiful beach. We just love to be in the sea because it's just like a dream place. The water was nicely warm and waves were gentle not like it's said dangerous beach. But you're better keep off from the beach when waves are high.

My wife and I rented a studio apartment on the North Shore for several days with hopes of watching at least part of the Hawaiian Pro (part of the Van's Triple Crown of Surfing). The Hawaiian Pro is held at Haleiwa Beach. Unfortunately, the ocean did not cooperate and the ocean was flat the entire time we were there. (The... More

Many beaches in Hawaii are not crowded, you just need the means to get there and a good GPS to guide you and the will to be a bit of the Adventurer. Get out and enjoy the sights. When we drove around the Island this was one of our many stops and as we walked along the beach holding hands... More

Ending a day at the beach in Haleiwa, is a must here! Great for snorkeling or surfing or just catching some rays. Easy parking, but make sure to secure valuables, they do break in to cars on occasion, so just leave it back at hotel.

If you love surfing, this is the beach to go. Waves are high and not crowded unlike Waikiki. If you just wanna suntan, go to Waikiki. Surrounding is laid back and hang loose.

Love this little town they have beaches and shopping and restaurants as well. Easy to get to and gets you away from Waikiki area if you are staying in that area. Plan a few hours here to rest relax and stop. Love the views and they also have other activities such as paddle boarding too.

This was a nice place. I can see why some tour buses stop there. The place is not crowded. The water is calm and the sea turtles are close. Saw 4 sea turtles within 30 ft of the shore. Great pictures. Facilities are clean.

A must see little town with shops and restaurants. This is the famous "north shore". Plenty to eat and see.
