No parking available, so we parked on the street in the nearby neighborhood. This hike was beautiful and offered some amazing views of Lanikai. The trail is moderately difficult, with some really steep spots, which required some climbing. There are also spots where the trail is narrow and pretty close to drop offs. It's all extremely manageable if you take... More

Small peak with two old bunkers. Best place for sunrise. Not so far from beach. It takes maybe 30 mnutes one way from the beach.

This is a great hike but not for the weak or none adventures. It has challenge, danger and rewards. Challenge - very steep in places but not so much a 48 year out of shape guys couldn't do. Danger - in spots if you went over the edge you could die. Reward - the view is amazing.

Awesome views on this short but moderate-difficult hike. Do the hike in the morning as there is not much shade or protection from the sun. We did this hike with my 6 month pregnant wife and 2 kids ages 4 and 8 who are experienced hikers. There are some steep and treacherous spots with warnings posted at the beginning of... More

Steep hike in some parts but in general not very difficult. It really worth it! Just bring water and a hat for the sun. The views are impressive!

While not high in altitude, this is a strenuous hike - about two hours depending on skill, age and training - because of the steep incline, and descent, along a dirt and rocky path. The view of the coastline from the top is very beautiful.

Loved this hike...definitely make sure you are wearing proper foot wear, as there is a view spots you have to scramble up over some rocky spots, (Good trail shoes are a must). It's a short round trip hike, and the view at the top is amazing!

Easy to Moderate difficulty hike. Took my wife and I about 30 minutes to get to the top with a single flashlight, we started around 5:45 am. I suppose you could start hiking a little later than we did and still make it to the top before sunrise without a flashlight. Parking is in a neighborhood and is limited. Some... More

Awesome hike to view the sunrise! I would say it could be considered easy to moderate difficulty as there are a couple parts that are pretty steep. As long as you are wearing appropriate shoes for climbing it will be a pretty easy hike. It takes about 30-45 minutes to get to the pill boxes. The views from the top... More

Somewhat rigorous (rocky) hike so don't wear flip flops or go barefoot. Bring water. Best to go in the early part of the day before the sun gets too hot. Entrance is across from a private country club and can be a little tricky to spot. Make sure to adhere to local street parking signs and don't leave valuables in... More
