This was great fun to hike--we just had to be super careful on the way down. It had rained heavily the previous day and the mud/clay was treacherous. We got a nice view from the top because it was sunny when we hiked. That is...More

Parking - there is really one stall available at the entrance. There was an SUV there when we went and we couldn't fit behind it. we parked up the road (all wheels off the road). Take a small vehicle if you can. Where we parked,...More

Parking can be challenging for this hike as it is all in a neighborhood and the sign is easy to miss depending on how people have parked. Look close to the ground for the small sign. Read the website for the historical background on the...More

This is not a trail for serious hikers, but for those of us who like to meander and stroll without purpose, reveling in the sights around you and reflecting on life. Amble through forests of bamboo, macadamia, banyan and strawberry guava trees. Take your time,...More

Perfect short scenic hike for the family with lots of different foliage and trees. Great views of Kaneohe Bay. We found the trail to Oneawa Trail and went as far as a fence warning of high radio frequencies beyond the fence so we didn't want...More

The ground is unstable. With wet leaves, tree trunks sticking out and shifting rocks hike with caution. We went hiking with my friends 15 month old strapped to her and mom almost fell twice with the baby. But it is beautiful and a fun hike.

Beautiful lookout over Kaneohe bay and the Koolau mountains. There are strawberry guava trees on top. There is a bamboo forest path that makes a tunnel along the path. It's a great easy quick hike. It can be slippery after a hard rain. There are...More

Depends on how many times you stop and your skill level anywhere from 30 minutes to a hour. Maybe a little longer if you stop along the way.
