TOUGH BUT WORTH IT !!

This trail is definitely a little more than just a hike. If you are going, be sure to bring lots of water and don't worry about snacks because there are a lot of cherry guavas everywhere. When you reach the coconut tree, your halfway there. A little disappointed when we got to the waterfall. It was a little opaque and... More

If you see rain clouds over the mountain, avoid the hike. We hike early to avoid the rain showers. The trail was still... More

We hiked in the rain but it was warm. Parts were really muddy so if it is wet bring some old shoes. It was fun with some nice views well worth the trip. No real parking available. It is in a neighbor and not a great one at that. Lock the doors and don't leave any valuables.

Get ready for mud if you travel there when it rains. It's technical, full of trees and roots and really fun. Start early because it may take you longer than you thing and the number one tip is: get your papers filed BEFORE going so you can park your car at the trailhead and hike without worry. The falls are... More

Great place at the top with the falls. Usually are running. Fruit to eat along the way (if you are traveling at the right time). Not very scenic on the way up ... lots to walk through.

The whole family took the hike and noone regrets it. It took a little longer than expected, but then again, we had a child with ut. The first part is really easy, but the view and the forest is beautiful. Later in the path gets a lot more muddy and narrow, and the last part before the falls is mud... More

For those who enjoyed a small hiking trip and looking at different plants and birds, this would be a great place. The area near the falls is very crowded, But taking a dip in the pond below the falls can be refreshing after all the walking.

If you haven't made this hike before, I would suggest on enlisting someone who knows the trail to go with you. Signage is minimal. Finding the trailhead and then staying on the trail for the first few miles is questionable. The hike is definitely worth the effort. Lot's of fruit on the way including strawberry guava and java plum. The... More

It was a nice stroll and easy walking but the falls were a bit disappointing to say the least. Its ok for a stop of on your way to somewhere else but don't make the trip if its a spectacular waterfall you are looking for

Good hike. A bit longer than we had originally thought but gorgeous views! The falls was a little bit of a let down but refreshing and nice to explore. Plan on 1.5 hours up to the falls (could easily take 2 if you go leisurely)... faster downhill.
