- romadaroWashington DC, District of Columbia1,594 contributionsWorth the Drive? You Be the Judge!Iām not terribly impressed with this outlet center since itās out in the middle of nowhere and it has a limited number of stores. But the ones that are here are pretty good with Tommy Bahama, Calvin Klein, Coach, Tumi, Polo, Armani , Tommy Hilfiger, Lacoste, Tory Burch, Marc Jacobs and Saks Off 5th. The rest (and there arenāt many more) arenāt even worth mentioning. So if youāre looking for a designer handbag, which has the most stores, this outlet center is a good option. Otherwise, I wouldnāt waste my beach time!Visited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten January 3, 2024
- Susan SFirestone, Colorado88 contributionsShop frenzyThis is a great place to shop the outlets and get some great deals. I like so many stores here Michael Kors, Vans, Famous Footwear, the perfume shop, Killinger, Crocs, Coach. Every store seem to have some kind of deal. There is literally everything for my entire family. And they have awesome food trucks in the parking lot for a quick and reasonable price and the have an outside sitting area.Visited March 2024Travelled with familyWritten March 11, 2024
- Stay676052126683 contributionsDefinitely worth a visitThere were some good deals here - particularly in Coach, Armani, Armani Express, Levi and Clarins. Famous Footware is a great shop, although it depends on your footsize as to whether you'll find something. If you are a US Size 10 and upwards, you're fine. But if you're 7 to 8 - you'll struggle. Definitely worth a visit - you'd be unlikely to find no deals that suit you.Visited May 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten June 1, 2024
- Christina RDĆ¼sseldorf, Germany2,575 contributionsManageable designer outletThe Waikele Premium Outlet is located approx. 30 minutes by car from Honolulu. Since we were traveling with a rental car anyway, we stopped there. With around 50 stores, some of which were closed at the time of our visit, the number of designer shops is rather manageable compared to the outlet malls on the mainland USA. The mall offers some big designer brands where you can get some bargains but it depends on what you are looking for. There are also a few restaurants and food stalls with outdoor seating. Lots of parking spaces are available. However, I wouldn't plan a whole day there and, if you're staying in Hawaii in combination with the mainland of the USA, I would prefer the larger selection of shops in outlet malls on the mainland, especially since the prices there are cheaper than in Hawaii.Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten June 15, 2024
- Peter ETallebudgera, Australia36 contributionsA Half day bargain shoppingWe had a bad experience with Waikele Xpress Shuttle who billed us for a no-show even though we had advised by phone and email several times of the change of date. Then they thanked us for going with them !! So avoid them. So, we re-booked with Waikele Outlet Shuttle who only take a deposit so you don't lose the entire payment if your circumstances change. They went well until they failed to collect us at the Outlet at the appointed time. We then had to phone them only to receive a convoluted and aggressive response. They eventually delivered via a Lyft transfer. So, transportation aside, it is worth a half day and there are some genuine bargains.Visited June 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten July 3, 2024

Whilst I am not much of a shopper I visited this outlet for my wife.
We used their shuttle service (Waikele Xpress Shuttle ) who charged us a reasonable $10 return per person and collected us and dropped us off direct to our hotel.
I had a quick look around the outlets and because of the poor value of the Australian dollar I didnt really find any bargains. My wife did purchase a few items.
I had many hours to kill so had a coffee at Aloha Coffee then walked across the road to Chilis Mexican and had a great 2 course $12 lunch and a few beers.

Not as discounted as hoped, this may be due to the horrible aud to usd rate. While found some bargains at clearance racks, mostly was a waste of time and similar pricing to aust. we found way more bargains though last season items at Ross dress for less especially hand bags and shoes. But if you looking for something specific or specific brand or this season the premium outlet Is for you but for us bargain shoppers stick to Ross. Their are two at Ala Moana shopping Center this is much better place to hit. All the designers brands are also at this Center and most had clearance section equal to the premium outlet.

We arrived at 12pm and despite the rain ( partially covered walkways) we managed to shop till the shuttle picked us up at 5pm. Excellent sales with 70 pc off in some stores. The food court was unfortunately not good in the rain so we moved to the other area which has more covered restaurants. We always come here for bargains when in Honolulu.

Good points - plenty of parking, combine with Pearl Harbour if you have a hire car
Bad points: retail pricing at most "outlets". Feels like a tourist trap. Inadequate signage means you need to install an app to find where things are.

We made our annual trek to Waikele during our recent visit to Oahu and nothingās changed here. No new stores, but Coach, DKNY, Kate Spade, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Swarovski, Saks Off 5th, Tommy Bahama, Tumi and Armani, among others, are here, although the prices are beginning to rival their full line stores. Nevertheless, itās worth a visit, although a lot of the merchandise appear to be made exclusively for the outlet store as Iāve seen very few of the items in their full price stores or online.

Got some great bargains at GAP (next door), Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger. Joined up with Simon Premium Outlets and downloaded the app, which happened to give me an extra 20% off on that day (offers change all the time). Clothing is quite conservative though, so not much for teenagers. Lots of free parking. Open until late.

This is a nice spot to shop for items you may not see in your own country but I wouldnāt necessarily say it was cheap (but can also depend on where you are from for conversion rates). Being from Australia I found things werenāt cheaper but different to what I see at Home. We did enjoy ourselves here looking at all the shops. I was pretty happy to purchase a leather jacket from gap, sneakers from adidas and a handbag from Saks off 5th. I know the rest of the group really liked coach, Tommy Hilfiger and adidas.
Really depends on what you like to buy and if shopping is something you can/want to fit in to your trip to hawaii. I know some members of the group thought we could have spent less time shopping and others went back the next day.

We booked our return shuttle for $10 each to go to these outlets. Even though the Australian dollar isn't great at the moment there was some fantastic prices in coach, up to 70% off, Michael kors, Tommy Hilfiger for kids, and Adidas 40% off storewide.
There are food outlets such as kfc and mcdonalds across the road. There is also a number of food trucks serving food.
We could only see one set of toilets amongst the shops so they get busy and were not clean.
Once you arrive go to the information desk and you will receive extra discount book.

Hey! Is there anywhere you could pick up basketball jerseys/shoes? Would we just be looking at the Adidas store for these? Cheers

Hi, I am travelling from Australia and looking at going to Waikele Premium Outlets during the Black Friday sales or the few days after. I'm hoping someone can give me some tips on how to avoid the traffic (which day is better), whether it would be impossible to get parking or should I opt for the shuttles, when the sales start and anything else you might feel is relevant. Any help from anyone on here would be great. I have seen YouTube clips where the traffic to get in is miles long and want to avoid that. Appreciate any advice :)
