The buildings of Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral-Basilica are so unique. There is a mass going on when we visit, so we did not go in to take pictures. The big "Guam" words are a famous check point for tourist.

Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral, a Catholic church, is just a stone throw away from Guam Museum, beside Plaza de Espana and across Guam Congress. Within the Cathedral, there is a store for religious articles and a small bakeshop selling newly baked pies or bread.

Visiting a cathedral in a foreign country is always top on my list; thus, always an excellent thing to do. It is such heartwarming to see two statues of the first Filipino saint inside the cathedral, that of St. Lorenzo Ruiz. The cathedral was closed...More

Close to Latte Stone Park, we wandered the grounds. It was well manicured and beautiful. The ponds were dried up and in disrepair. There was homeless person in the pavilion, but they were harmless. It was a cool little ad on stop to Latte Stone...More

A beautiful church house! Praying for the church (the body of people) which is the Bride of Christ...so they may be the light in our dark world!

Visited in November 2016. This is a lovely Basilica in Guam located across the street from the Guam Museum. The church has historical significance as Pope John Paul II visited here. Beautiful church and there is a gift shop on the side of the Basilica....More
