This trail is easy access. It runs on the ocean side of Park Loop Rd. Fairly level hiking. It's not a loop, so you'll need to arrange drop-off and pick-up. Or use the Island Explorer Shuttle Bus, it's free.

This is an approximately one-mile walk along the ocean in downtown Bar Harbor (not to be confused with the Shore walk in Acadia National Park). It is a flat, easy to navigate walk which starts down by the pier. We loved walking each evening after...More

Ocean path was my favorite thing we did while in Acadia. The path is pretty and runs along the ocean. There are lots of spots you can go off the path and climb around on rocks to get ocean views. We started at Sand beach...More

We walked on this path several nights after having dinner in Bar Harbor. It's an easy walk along the harbor/bay with beautiful homes on the other side of the trail. The wild roses were so pretty and fragrant. Lovely path.

I started from my hotel and took this scenic route into town to grab my morning coffee. It can get crowded but it's a beautiful walk.

The ocean path trail starts at Sand Beach on Park Loop Road in Acadia and continues to Otter Cliff, passing by Thunder Hole and tons of little side trails to walk a few feet onto gorgeous cliffs, coves, pebble beaches and just enjoy. Path is...More

Dogs on leash are allowed. The path is narrow but flat so depending on the size of the scooter, it may be able to fit. The issue is the curb to get onto the path and the access from Sand Beach has steps. I believe there is a... More

The trail itself is flat and easy for anybody. The parts that jut off toward ocean are uneven and rocky but the views are just as beautiful from the trail. You can also drive to any part of this trail and park in right... More
