Nice way to start or end the day. Pathway is well taken care of. Ocean on one side, beautiful homes on the other. You can vote on which one you would buy if you won the lottery.

We took a nice stroll on the path after dinner one evening. The scenery was beautiful. We took really nice photos. Very easy walk. Near the end, we took a path back to a city street not too far from the Green.

This is a well traveled path along the shore. It begins at the pier. it is well maintained. It offers good views of some of the homes in downtown Bar Harbor. It is an easy walk, without stairs or obstructions (caveat - there was some...More

While crowded it was good to walk the coast line in Bar Harbor. Would recommend as a way to enjoy the Maine coast

A very relaxing walk. The dogs love it. Great way to watch the sun rise. Lots of people enjoying a morning walk or run.

This was the first thing we did on the island. My 3 year old wanted to be more adventurous than I allowed but the path was very easy to walk, and not very long. A nice introduction to the town.

We walked along the Shore Path in Bar Harbor with our 7 and 8 year old, and it was beautiful. The walk was nicely paved, and there are some areas where you can walk down to the rocky beach to get closer to the ocean....More

Wonderful walk, especially as it was next to our hotel. Great for the beginning/end of a run, a place to read, and morning yoga (grassy area next to the trail), breakfast, playtime...and more we enjoyed daily along this path. Must see when in Bar Harbor.

We were there just a few weeks ago and I just reviewed my photos of the path. It is level, but is not paved, but is packed gravel. Also, there are no guard rails and there are steep drop offs to the ocean below. However... More

Not sure. I was say from downtown to the end probably a little less than a mile. Lots of opportunity to view the ocean, flowers, and homes.
