Great venue. Easily reached from downtown via buss 38. Non-US citizens: you need a passport to get bar stamp. Drivers licence etc wont be enough and you will not be able to buy alcohol.

Just been here to see primal scream. Found it great venue and enjoyed the gig. Word of warming though don't walk past it for a drink. Very shady neighbour hood. Like a lot of San Francisco I guess

My wife and I celebrated our 10-year wedding anniversary at the Jayhawks show at the FIllmore. Great venue. Great sight lines. Great staff. The walls of posters were amazing. Drinks were delish. Sound system made the Jayhakws sound amazing. Nice work to the staff and venue!

Great venue, a little high on drink prices, but in sf. thats what u get. DON"T EVER PARK, at the fillmore center garage. The security ARE the window breaking thieves. Take your chances on the street.

We saw The Dead Kennedys here and had a blast. As an all-ages venues, the kids were able to come along. Being a girl, I appreciate that the bathrooms were clean and there was never a line. My only complaint was the cost of the 3/4 full beers.

We go here frequently, lastly to see Patti Smith. The upstairs is full of history, with posters of bands since the 1960s adorning the walls. The sound is much better downstairs and there is no seating, unless you are handicapped or lucky enough to get the few tables upstairs. The beers are limited, though they do offer Prohibition and Lagunitas.... More

This is a beautiful venue, easily accessible by public transport, and surrounded by restaurants and shopping. It is across the street from Japantown which is also an interesting place to check out before a show. You are greeted by friendly staff who obviously love their job. The acoustics and overall mood are impressive. The chandeliers, bucket of apples, and free... More

We enjoyed a fantastic soul-funk, 3-band concert here. Tickets were well-priced, Sound amazing, the atmosphere and crowd just great. Drinks slightly expensive, but all in all the evening was priceless. 100% recommended for tourists!
