Born & raised in SF but had never been there. Great short walk to the top that is very easy. You can also take alternative trails that are even better off the main path. Highly recommend that

Holy cow, the drive up to be near the entrance was scary! We spent maybe 1-1/2 to 2 hours here on a Monday morning. It was quiet and peaceful. We only stumbled upon a few other people during our hike. This is not a difficult...More

Mt. Davidson is a small park with an epic view of the bay, downtown, and the rest of San Francisco. Well worth it. When you are done taking in the view, take a walk through the cute neighborhood adjacent to the park.

Friends and I chose Mount Davidson for the hike and view at the top. We were delighted to find the Armenian Monument at the top. We were grateful for the beautiful scenery and thankful for the freedom we so often take for granted.

This is one of the coolest spots to check out SF from on high. A winding, groomed trail leads up to the summit where intrepid folks will find the Cross of Mount Davidson and a simply spectacular view of the city. It truly is a...More

Located away from the downtown and wharf areas, in a residential neighborhood, this is a must pilgrimage to Dirty Harry fans. Parking along the street was no issue, a short walk up a service road takes you to an overlook of SF from Sutro tower...More
