The individual headset tour is awesome. You can go at your own pace. It was a great tour. You can explore the island on your own and take your time.

We did the self-guided tour which was easy to follow and very interesting. It took you through what occurred in various sections of the cell block and when. We found the tour more interesting than we expected.

I would do 530 because you can get ANY ferry back, so you can stay until the last ferry. That will give you an extra hour to walk around and really enjoy it.
