We so enjoyed having fish and seafood for dinner at Pier 39 while watching the water and the boats. The restaurant is rustic, especially because we sat outside (the courtyard was very reasonably protected from the wind). The service was very good, and the fish...More

Pier 39 has done a great job of putting ramps all through the attraction. There is no place on the pier that is not accessible to you. It makes for a pleasant experience when you have little kids or someone in a wheelchair. I can’t...More

Definitely a tourist trap. A burger and beer for two will cost £50. Shops overpriced. We found goods cheaper at the supermarket across the road.

Well, what more is there to say about this area. It is a real live American Circus. Filled with over priced shops that sell junk to tourists... This does not represent a genuine San Francisco experience: do most waste your time going there.

Many shops, bars, and restaurants to explore. The sea lions are quite entertaining as they lounge on floating rafts along side the pier.

Some complain this is a tourist trap, but hey guess what? We are tourists! I wouldn't spend a whole day day here, but good to wonder around. Even just to hang with the sea lions.More
