We went for the Korean Couture Exhibit, and it was exquisite. It is divided into three sections....traditional and historical, couture a la Chanel, and modern. Fabulous! The upstairs permanent exhibits are displayed by country and are a treat. Plan at least a couple of hours...More

Easily one of the most amazing collection of Asian art. The audio guides are also worth getting. The place is huge and you can easily spend at least 3 hours here.

We enjoy this museum when we come to San Francisco and this time was special with the Korean Fashion exhibit. It was very interesting with the contrast of old and new patterns while maintaining the historical interactions of fabric, design and symbolism.

Civic Center
Civic Center is the seat of power for all things
government and performance-related in the city.
Although its streets are best walked during daytime,
numerous cultural gems are within close proximity to
one another. The symphony, opera, ballet, and jazz
center offer year round entertainment within the
shadow of the city’s Beaux-Arts crown jewel: the gold
tipped dome of City Hall.
