Did you ever watch Full House as a kid? If so do you remember the intro of the show where you saw the row of colorful homes? The Painted Ladies of Alamo Square are 7 homes that were in the intro for Full House. Just...More

There really isn't much to say about the Painted Ladies other than "cute". We spent about 5 minutes there, and that seemed like an eternity. The views of the city skyline was much more pleasing than the views of the houses. Not something to go...More

As an avid fan of early 90s tv, the ‘Full House’ Houses had to be on my list of things to see during my trip to San Francisco. My British husband didn’t quite get it but happily went along with me. They didn’t disappoint for...More

This location is easy to find. I would suggest maybe stopping here towards the before sunset portion of your day. With all the walking done in SF it was nice to have this be our final stop and just relax and enjoy the view from...More

Great spot to take pics. Parking somewhat limited. There’s a park across the street with a few nice playgrounds and restrooms. Eve restrooms aren’t so clean but they work.

Going to SF you must visit the Painted Ladies. The alamo Square park (in front of the houses) is also a nice attraction. People walk with their dogs, do pic nics, etc.

You can get a pic of the painted ladies with a part of the San Francisco Skyline which is awesome. It's to far to walk from the financial district to the painted ladies but it's worth coming anyways.

Pretty. If you have a short amount of time in SF this is something I would suggest you skip. They do line a beautiful park. It was nice to walk and see the many dogs playing.

We headed here on our way out to the airport and glad we did. The houses are beautiful and such a part of San Francisco's architecture (a review further on describes the Painted Ladies perfectly). Great photo opportunity and the skyline looking back is lovely...More

My husband and I stopped by here during a short trip to SF. We knew it was really just a short street of Victorian houses, which wouldn't normally attract us to visit. But both our girls have grown up watching reruns of Full House and...More
