Definitely a must see if you're in San Francisco! If you want a view without the fog, visit about an hour before sunset. Also, if you're interested in a good view of the bridge but not necessarily wanting to walk across it you can visit...More

Outstanding experience!! I was th only one of the group who has been under the bridge before....it was quite an experience for everyone. Very clear, best to go by 2 p.m. to be certain of daylight and fog.

I'm not sure what you can say about a bridge, the view is amazing, though on clear days it's packed with people and bikes. A must do if visiting San Fran

We hired bikes and cycled over, the advantage being we were able to stop and take photos of the views of San Francisco. When you get to Sausalito you can have lunch before getting the ferry back but be sure to queue early... More
