We popped into Ghriradelli Square before heading back to our hotel one evening. When you walk into the Ghiradelli store, a charming, happy woman was passing out Strawberry white chocolate ~ yum! Neat area with restaurants & shops & cafes near Fisherman's Wharf.

Lots of boutique type places and wineries and chocolate factory. Beautiful old brick architecture. Restaurants and good rest rooms. We are staying at the Fairmont and so we are in a prime position. Love the wee shops.

Ghirardelli Square is a shadow of what it once was. We've been coming here for over 20 years and every time we visit, more shops have closed.

Very disappointed. Giant tourist trap and all inside. Nothing exciting except for chocolate lovers. Overall an overpriced waste of time
