We made it a point to arrive early before floods of tourists...joggers, walkers, photographers, all polka dot the trail...Very special

The service was quite slow for sandwiches. The chicken on my husband’s sandwich was burnt. Panini I ordered was nothing special. My children did like their burgers.

Stow Lake is beautiful - we rented paddle-boats - the men working there were very nice and friendly - and the trip around the lake was wonderful. We saw birds, ducks, geese, turtles, lots of sun and shade. The highlight of our trip. We had...More

A few friends of mine and I were wandering around strawberry hill, enjoying some lovely panoramic views of SF, when we stumbled upon the Stow Lake boat rentals and thought what a lovely way to spend a sunny Saturday in January! There were 5 of...More

I don't understand all the negativity regarding this place, maybe just avoid the food. You can easily have a wonderful time without the food. Anyway this place had a beautiful setting. Although it is man-made, it really doesn't feel like it. It is away from...More

Free for all and a great central park of the park. Stow lake acts as a moat for Strawberry Hill which is also a highlight. Well worth doing both of these attractions - bring your walking shoes and Camera!. 1980

We like to park and take a walk or two around the lake or cross the bridge and walk to the top of the water fall. Great time to reminisce about earlier visits with the kids rowing the rental boat too.

By any standards very expensive boat rentals to row/paddle on a decidedly sub par man-made water feature. Forget trying to walk here as well. The whole park is set up to be explored by car only.

Just a short walk from the Japanese Tea Garden is Stow Lake and Strawberry Hill. Abundant with ducks, turtles and geese, this circular lake and central island make an idyllic place for a walk, a picnic and if you have energy to spare rent a...More

Sorry! I have no idea. When we went, the waterfall was running freely and i have some beautiful photos of my husband and I in a pedal boat in front of the waterfall.

We thought the coffee was good. We were there for a party. Everyone seemed to enjoy the coffee and the venue.
