Location on water. Food was fantastic. I highly recommend the fish tacos. Tuna wrapped in nori and furukaki. Field greens. Aioli sauce all in a corn tortilla. One suggestion is small children may be taken a back from poster at hostess podium with rear ends...More

Stopped in on a Sunday morning and was seated by the window in the same seat where I was told President Clinton once sat. Bill, not Hillary, that is. The wait staff was attentive without being intrusive. Food was really, really good. Don't let the...More

Pier 23 is a great bar to hang out with friends, with good choice of drinks, friendly, helpful staff and the food is surprisingly great! Would pay this another visit. The wifi wasn't working when we went but as we had a large group it...More

Walking distance from where the Alcatraz Tour leaves from. Found street parking, and the meter allowed for over 4 hours. Location is awesome! We sat outside overlooking the bay. There were seals swimming around below us! Fish & Chips were great, and a massive portion....More

We happened upon this place on our way to another destination. We decided we liked the allure of the 70s/80s music playing into the street so we grabbed a few beers and sat on the patio to take in the atmosphere. Was a fun location,...More

This place always has a good crowd. Be patient and you'll be taken care of but you shouldn't be in a rush. Calamari & burgers are really good. Portions are large and definitely can be shared. Location is awesome- on the water but away from...More

North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds
of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian
ristorante come together to create the charming
neighbourhood of North Beach, once the stomping
grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of
North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always
suitable for younger visitors, few neighbourhoods in
the city exude as much European charm and style.
