We decided to head to twin peaks after getting lunch in the Misson. We walked from Mission Dolores Park to the intersection of Market and Castro, and then followed the directions we found online to walk through neighborhoods to get to twin peaks. What a walk! It took us through some incredible neighborhoods. I did feel slightly like I was... More

This is another way of seeing the entire SF skyline. It's beautiful and surreal... We took the most beautiful photos from up here. It's also a good place to just sit and relax, to enjoy the view and fresh air. We would definitely come back and visit again next year.

we did this as part of a city tour & they only took us there as it was a brilliant blue sky day & we were in a small tour bus so could easily get up the windy road. Fabulous views

ok, this place is pretty cool to visit, as you will get a nice view of S.F./ and the bay area. of course, dear tourist, and hipster visitors, do take a camera and stand on the hip-high fence over the mountain. the view is astonishing, the only thing i really recommend is to bring a nice jacket, as the weather... I arrived here a little late for the sunrise. To be exact, just as it was beginning. And my uber driver wasn't sure where is the place to stop, so he dropped me at the wrong place. But it was still very beautiful. Awesome view and easy hike.

I visit the city about once a year, but I'd never once visited this lookout spot. What an amazing view! It was a gorgeous sunny day and there were quite a lot of cars, so I imagine it may be more of a challenge to find parking in the summer months. My husband wants to bring binoculars next time. They... More

One of the best place to see San Francisco's skyline and the bay (when it's not foggy). Do practice common sense during late night visits as crimes do occur there.

One of the best ways to get a sense of the total layout of San Francisco and the Bay area. Be sure to walk around when you are on top of Twin Peaks, so you can experience the whole panorama from streets to Pacific Ocean.
