Makes the trek up to Nob Hill worth it. Great pictures from the outside and even better inside. Put it on your San Francisco itinerary.

The cathedral is quite beautiful both inside and out. Be sure to see the carved doors on the of the church depicting Old Testament stories. Very nice stained glass, paintings, carvings and other religious iconography. Peaceful side chapels throughout. People are very friendly. Great location...More

Grace Cathedral was a stop on our San Francisco City Tour. When I stepped inside, I was overcome with emotion. It is absolutely gorgeous! I took a seat and tried to "soak in" the atmosphere. Our stop was for about 15-20 minutes. Don't miss this...More

This was a perfect setting for an epic wedding. The magnificence and history of this setting can not be captured by words. Truly felt we were witnesses not only to a beautiful wedding ceremony but a piece of history. A tribute to a great city.

An imposing looking Cathedral that warrants attention. It took us some effort to walk up the steep road leading to this place. We walked in and sat down for a few minutes to rest.

It's not the prettiest cathedral from the outside like most European ones but the inside is lovely and when you go to listen to the Messiah it's a great experience. I recommend it for all music lovers.

We only saw from the outside and it was a pretty building. You can see it if you ride the California trolley route.

Beautiful church with 2 very interesting artists on display. Dont miss the one in the basement. Great walk up Nob hill. Also fun to walk around the neighborhood. Across the street is an incredible mosaic in the Mason building.

Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the
city and is home to amazing architecture and views.
The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for
those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be
rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful
architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated
with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all
were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that
