Bike the Bridge! At Blazing Saddles Bike Rental and Tours we want our guests to come away from a day on our bikes feeling as if they have just experienced the very best that our city has to offer. Whether it is a local resident enjoying our state of the art equipment or a visitor seeing the city for the first time, we encourage our riders to enjoy the bike friendly environment of San Francisco. Blazing Saddles was one of the first in the industry to develop a proprietary map of suggested routes and points of interest, and we have been a major pioneer in promoting cycling through the Presidio National Park, over the Golden Gate Bridge and into Sausalito and Tiburon. All of our seven locations in San Francisco have easy access to a car-free bike path that winds around the city by the bay. We have the largest fleet of bikes in San Francisco, including state of the art electric bikes, tandems and kids' bikes. We also have high performance road and mountain bikes for those who want to explore Golden Gate National Recreation Area and Mt. Tamalpais State Park. We rent bikes 365 days a year and are open at 8am every day. For those that want something more, we offer a daily tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. No reservations necessary.

This was one of the best tours I've been on. You get to see the whole Bay Area as well as going across the bridge into the quieter suburbs. We learnt so much from the super friendly and knowledgable guide and got some incredible pictures too. There are some steep climbs and it is a long ride etc so a... More

Picked up our bikes across the road from the Hyatt Centric on North Point. Helpful staff fitted us out with bikes and helmets and provided helpful suggestions. We opted to cycle the bridge to Sauslito and take a ferry back from there. This was a highlight of our trip and one I would recommend to anyone visiting San Francisco

Hired the bikes from near pier 39 and the staff were very helpful. then made our way to the golden gate bridge and back! took just under 2 hrs to go half way across the bridge and back, which was plenty enough of riding for the day. There are massive hills along the way so be prepared! also be sure... More

We rode down to Fort Point under the Golden gate bridge from fishermans wharf. The bikes are comfy and easy to use and very smooth. getting the bikes was easy and hassle free and a very quick process, and quite reasonable value for only $8 an hour. we had so much fun riding down to the bridge, its a fairly... We used Blazing Saddles in 2012 and loved it and knew we would be back next time in San Francisco. Again we used the Hyde Street location. They offer a 20% discount when reserved online and no up front payment is required which is fantastic. Upon arrival there were staff in our face and over the top, it was actually... More

I understand that this review will probably be lost in the masses very soon, but if I can just have one person go to the other plentiful options, that'd be great. This service was terrible, terrible is probably not harsh enough. I have hired bikes from many countries, some third-world countries and never been ripped off and treated this badly.... More

We rented bikes from the Mason Street location with the intent of just touring Haight-Ashbury and Golden Gate Park, but we extended our ride through the Lands End park area, the Presidio, over the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito and returned on the ferry. Although very hilly in some sections through Lands End and Presidio, this ride gave us the... More

Rode from Fisherman's wharf, across the bridge and into Sausalito. Very ambitious ride to go beyond the Bridge but well worth it. There is the option to ride the Ferry back as well which would make it easier. Well run company.

Loved our biking experience. We went on our own which I would recommend. Bikes are in good condition with many gears so we could maneuver up the hills okay. We went down by Fisherman's Wharf, over to the State Park and then to the Golden Gate. We didn't go across the bridge but got our scenic picture. Went through the... More

First of all - we rented our bikes from the city centre and not at Fishermans wharf. The level of service was great, however electric bikes were not available from this branch. However we were happy enough with a traditional bicycle and some manual pedal power! We were provided with maps and a route identified to take us across the... More

Fantastic! We are thrilled that you had a fun ride across the Golden Gate on our bikes. We are happy that we were able to provide you with an unforgettable experience. If you want to have a more electrified ride next time, come stop by our electric bike headquarters at 2715 Hyde Street and we'll be happy to set you... More
