If you want the easier way, take Uber up to Coit then walk down the steps. We walked up them and needed the exercise after all of the good food we had been eating! The views are beautiful all the way up. It’s also worth...More

If you are in the area, make sure you experience this. You can loop it into a trip to Coit Tower and the entire thing is pretty neat. We really enjoyed it!

I needed to keep reminding myself to STOP, and enjoy the view at each landing. The climb is not as difficult as it looks, and the view from the top is worth it.

It will be easier to take a bus to the top and then walk down rather than walking UP! Take it slow. Bring a bottle of water. Do NOT carry heavy packages. Slow..styop and enjoy the view all the way up (or down) and at...More

There are some wonderful views as you make your way up or down these stairs - but there's a lot of them. A lot. I'm not the most fit person around. Reality is, I'm a lazy fat b*st*rd, so this was hard. If you're not...More

So nice to see the view from there. Cute houses on the way. A lot of steps though, so make sure to put good shoes on.

The restaurant changed hands (don't know when) and became the Dalla Torre. The Dalla Torre closed in 2006 and the site was converted to a private residence.
