San Francisco has changed a lot in the last 20 years. Many more homeless on the streets, but Market Street is worth a walk to take in the architecture and the local vibes.

The high rise buildings are unique and very architecturally stimulating, however, the roads are traveled by many and the glass does fall during an earthquake. That is something that you have to consider when in SanFrancisco on foot and in a car

I think this is the longest street in San Francisco. It pierces the city and stretches from the fabulous Ferry Bldg. up and over Twin Peaks. So it covers a lot of ground. Some important and monumental buildings along the way. Some cafes and restaurants....More

When you walk you need to be really careful. It doesn't look safe at all. There are many shops and mal. The street is very crowded. It is not surprise if you see people pee on the street or vomit.
