Riding bikes from Fisherman's Warf area to the Golden Gate bridge we found this park by accident. Another gem with plenty of parking and easy access.

Pack your walking shoes and just head out on all the walking paths and trails. The views are incredible and the different points of history notes along the way are interesting.

We stopped on our bike ride over the bridge here and loved to see all the dog walkers. It was amazing to see how many dogs people could walk at once. The surroundings are beautiful. It was fun to see a volunteer group grooming the...More

I like walking here when I visit because it is right on the Bay and mostly flat. You can walk from the Marina to the Golden Gate Bridge. There is a slope up as you approach the bridge. It can be breezy.

The kids were not interested, we rode through on our way to the Golden Gate Bridge. I was glad that we did not dedicate too much time.

Perfect location to go for a jog, have a picnic or just relax. Offering picture perfect views, this vast green area also has an interesting history of being a former airfield.
