I absolutely love this museum. It has a terrific art and sculpture collection. I was amazed, awestruck and completely fascinated by all the galleries. I had scheduled 1 hour and ended up spending (only) 4 because the museum was closing. While the galleries do not...More

I enjoyed visiting. The best art, in my opinion, were at the end of each wing. They had a special exhibit of costumes from Brooklyn that I didn't go to, it was quite pricy. There is a holocaust memorial out front that will take your...More

Amazing and varied collection, classical paintings, some impressionists, real restored French chateau room, Degas sculptures and more. If you're lucky you'll be able to take a fascinating docent's tour.

The Legion of Honor is a San Francisco gem. The views from outside the museum are among the best in the city. The Beaux-Arts building is magnificent. The permanent collection is impressive, most notably the Rodin sculptures, including The Thinker. The current special exhibit, Luminous...More

Must see for the art and the Rodin collection. I was initially confused by the name of this museum but was absolutely gobsmacked by the art collection. Great views of Golden Gate as well, and lovely garden setting.

This nice museum is about a 25-minute Uber ride from the wharves, and is well worth an afternoon's outing. It's not a massive museum, so it's not difficult to cover the entirety in a few hours. I thoroughly enjoyed the collections, and the little bits...More

It's. Eden there for a while so the crowds are not as bad as when it opened. I'd recommend during the week if that's an option. I was there in a Sunday and even then the crowds were not too bad. I'm guessing a weekday... More
