My mom and I were staying at the Villa Florence Hotel and decided to venture across the street to this bar and we really liked it. Very attentive service and they even have fresh popped popcorn. Would definitely recommend for a quick drink at a chill bar.

Went in for a drink and sat down whilst wife went to use rest room and was confronted by a staff member who seemed put out by that. When she returned and ready to order we asked where Bank of America was and she launched into us about restrooms were for customers. We stated we are a customer and she... More

I can't believe I was charged $37 for two drinks. I had a double rum & coke and my gf had a stoli soda. We were charged a $5 service charge and a $2.50 tax! Never ever had that in a bar anywhere much less in SF!!

After the disappointment of the fishermans wharf area I called in for a martini, all I can say is excellent, renewed my faith after the visit to fishermans wharf, (first and definitely the last time) the martini, splendid, the friendship splendid, the atmosphere splendid, and after the martini the house sav Blanc nothing short of splendid, I bought 3 bottles

We popped into this bar for a late night cap, initial service not great and then had to chase waiter to get second round of drinks, despite this waiter still wanted $11 tip on top of very expensive drinks plus state tax and local tax, his response to my query " welcome to San Fransisco " Well mate , we... Sams Cable Car Lounge is very expensive! Add to the ridiculous prices a 22% service charge and you'll certainly feel it in your wallet when you go here.

Walking distance to all shops and hotels. Stopped off here 3 nights in a row. Friendly staff and bartenders. The fee on your bar tab is a little turn off.

This is a great location and the staff very friendly. It is not cheap, but then for its location what do you expect - as we live near London this is not un-expected. The beer was good and cold, but make sure you realise the 22% tip is already added into the bill. We went here a few times as... More
