on the ocean, Sutro Park is close by and is quite spectacular, the Land's End walk out to the Legion of Honor is a favorite walk in the city, and you are rewarded with the Legion museum at the other end.

Great hikes. A nice break from "the city"! Great for hiking & views. Parking can be difficult. Sutro baths add a layer for interest.

Do come here for great views, lovely walk, beach, and education about an interesting part of the City history. So much to do and see. Give yourself enough time to explore here.

The Sutro baths were quite interesting to walk around & climb on. I would recommend keeping children to the marked paths as some of the baths do have water in them. The area itself is stunning with the numerous rocks, paths and stairs to allow...More

This is a must place to visit while in San Franciso which gives a good idea of the Peoples of the Coast. Please be prepared to walk along the coast which is a terrific feeling and for a good view of the Golden Gate bridge.
