I live just up the street from Club Deluxe. Its a great place to stop by, hear music and have a drink! The crowd is mixed, old and young! (not all trendy hipsters) No cover until 8 or 9pm and then I think its only...More

Super friendly and efficient bartender and great live music - we were super lucky to walk in on a Monday afternoon for the coolest jam session! Thanks for an amazing time!

Where would you go to hear some great jazz on a sunny Sunday afternoon? Club Deluxe of course. We were lucky enough to hear the 29th Street Swing Band, who played from 2.30 till 5.30. Happy hour at the bar for that entire time, so...More

Went there on a wednesday evening. Great jazz band of 5-6 playing. 30-40 guests in the room, conversating, drinking, laughing and clapping at solos. The atmosphere couldn’t be better.

Reminds me of what a jazz bar is supposed to feel like: cozy, intimate, quirky, smooth, with quality musicians. What I love about this one is that they are open in afternoon in a jazzy hippy district. Drinks were kind of average, but you really...More

Visited here with famiky and saw two live bands. The place was very busy but not packed, so comfortable. All the seating and tables in the main room were occupied, so we had to stand by the bar. An extensive bar offering everything - including...More

We visited here twice for a drink before dinner. Both bands were very good and the drinks are very reasonably priced. Was packed both times we went.

Saw America Social Club. It was packed. Fun spot we would certainly go back. It is small, which is nice, but if a popular night your view will be blocked so get there early.

The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and
Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of
the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage
clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops.
While the Summer of Love ended decades ago,
Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of
hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through
its streets can still feel like stepping back in time.
