Dimly lit dive bar seen by Anthony B on his San Francisco layover. The Mai Tai packs a bunch, the Budda Beer cold and tasty. Locals and a few tourists enjoy this bar. A good place to get local views on where to go, what...More

Mai Tai was suggested by a friend and it was great. Small little vintage bar in Chinatown. Highly recommended.

Shockingly, an older gentleman serves as the only bartender is this very cool bar in Chinatown. Known for his killer Mai Tai's somehow this gentleman serves everyone in the bar semi efficiently. Good drinks. Cash only! Smart man!!!

This is a cash only bar. Just a heads up before you go, which you should for a drink if you're in the area. We went because we had to see the little dive Anthony Bourdain enjoyed. It's small and could use some sprucing up...More

Where Kerouac drank and discussed the meaning of life beneath the Golden Buddha. A must for every fan of beat poetry. Go there, have a cold beer and think of where next on your road trip.

As the oldest in North America, San Francisco's
Chinatown is an exotic experience. A unique

streetlights, hanging lanterns, and pagoda roofs
awaits behind the stone-carved dragon gates. Feast on
dim sum at the tea houses, or meet the locals who
gather at historic Portsmouth Square to play chess or
practice Tai Chi. Fish markets, produce stands,
