One of the city's most popular park located between the Mission District and the Castro/Noe Valley neighborhoods. On sunny afternoons people flock to the park to play, picnic, lounge, walk their dogs, and enjoy spectacular views of the city's skyline and beyond. Please remember to pack out your trash, use cans instead of glass, and don't leave cigarette butts behind. This is a Leave no Trace park and bins are located around the perimeter of the park.

When you have shootings during a weekday and a nickname like Piss Park its kind of tough to give a 4/5 star review. But the park is awesome. It's just San Francisco has its issues and unfortunately police in SF are either understaffed or its...More

I had been told about the unfortunate violent event in June and was cautious when I visited the park. It was shockingly clean, especially the restrooms and playground area. However, there are more homeless people around the park in corners. I don't really feel it...More

Abs loved this place. Spent the afternoon of 4th relaxing in the sun, people watching. Good music, good vibes, spectacular views. A place to clear your head. We were visiting from the UK, it's slightly off the beaten track but well worth the effort.

Grab something to eat and a blanket and enjoy the view over the city in the background during sunset. Before or after enjoy the streets of Mission District incl. the amazing street arts and individual shops, plus plenty of restaurants!

Stayed near the park on recent holiday in SF. Nice grassy park with great views of the city. Surrounded by Mission, Noe Valley and Castro districts, with multiple great options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, nightlife. We enjoyed our time here.

Sprawled out on a sloping site tucked surprisingly in a pretty suburb this is a quiet retreat for the nature lover. Pack your own cheeses and crackers with a bottle of chilled white or rose and it's a honeymooner's delight. Pack a frisky and runners...More

Have been to Dolores Park on about a handful of visits just to sit and relax on the cool grass and people watch. Plenty of twenty-somethings rolling around the grass with their dogs. It's an oasis of grass in a nice old neighborhood bordered by...More

Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the
foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural
attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous
street murals and a high density of bars and cafes
make this neighbourhood a magnet for young people.
While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its
top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the
city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the
