On a sunny day this is a wonderful option to see the bridge in its beauty and to get a unique view of San Francisco. I took the 90-minute ride to "Two bridges" on a cloudless day and I have wonderful pictures with the bridge.

Early is better. 930 was perfect. Affordable way to get close up to the Golden Gate Bridge. $32. About an hour. Great perspective. And there is a bar onboard with mimosas and Bloody Marys. Good time.

Most foggy early morning but depends on time of year. I you purchased a ticket - there will be room. Plenty of space on their boats.
