I paid $30 to go on this hour cruise. Headphones and transmitter were provided to describe what was going on in the tour. This particular tour went from GG bridge to Bay bridge and around Alcatraz.

The Bay cruise is a must! Headphone tour of the bay...Very informative. Boat goes right under the bridge. Spectacular views of Golden Gate, the city of San Francisco and surroundings, and up close around Alcatraz. Definitely recommend!

It was relaxing. Not expensive at all and had a great time. They also sell alcohol! It went under the golden gate bridge.

We ended up taking this tour because we had three people who wanted a closer view of Alcatraz...it provides that, but so much more! An audio tour (offered in 16 different languages, sadly, Polish (which three members of our group use exclusively) was not one...More

The sunset cruise was well worth the money. We sailed round the bay past Alcatraz and then under the Golden Gate Bridge. A buffet and one drink is included in the price, more drinks can be purchased if required. The sunset was well worth the...More

Leaving the Fisherman's Wharf area they cruise towards the Golden Gate bridge and the on-board commentary (headsets and multilingual recordings) gives you a great insight into the San Francisco Bay area. This winds it's way under the GGB and back, passing very close to Alcatraz...More

This ride is about an hour long and probably better when it is not so windy (it gets windier as the day goes on so maybe a morning cruise is better). We did the Golden Gate cruise which basically takes you from Fisherman's Wharf, just...More

So, if you purchase a bridge to bridge in the AM, and if it is foggy can you exchange it for a time later that day? It talks about that for the bay cruise, but doesn't exactly say for bridge to bridge. What if the later ones are sold out, then you'd be stuck in the AM?

The bridge to bridge tour has different starting times also, even though you pick a time when booking? Whap happens if the boat is full when you show up? We would not have another day to go. Also, when is it usually the most foggy in the morning?

Most foggy early morning but depends on time of year. I you purchased a ticket - there will be room. Plenty of space on their boats.

We went the last week of November, which I believe is the winter schedule and it was approximately 2.5 hours.
