This was an excellent tour; Jay, our guide, was knowledgeable, personable, and really had a great timing sense. We never felt rushed, nor did we feel like there was too much time spent on one particular site. However, looking back at it, I was so...More

This is a wonderful walk. Jay, the guide, is knowledgeable and funny and has done a fantastic job in putting together a walk in San Francisco that does not need you to climb hills

My family really enjoyed Jay's tour. It was a great general introduction to the city as well as its treasury of residential architecture. Our teenage daughter enjoyed it as much as we did. Would definitely do it again.

Yes, children are allowed. I get many participants with small children. Effective January 2017 the tour operates three days a week (from five). Tour open Friday, Saturday and Monday. There are still some old brochures... More
Reservations never needed. Groups are always small.

No booking. Just show up at corner of Powell and Post of Union Square. I show up at 10:55 am with a yellow sign that says Victorian Home Walk. $25 cash fee collected at end of tour. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
