We stopped and ate at Cafe Zoetrope while we were in the area and got a decent amount of pictures of the historic building too. Coppola had the building renovated and they did a wonderful job. It really pops.

Owned by Francis Coppola, famous director and where his offices are based, with his cafe underneath. Really interesting building, especially if photographed with the pyramid building in the background.

Iconic building, the location of Francis Ford Coppola's Zoetrope, There's such great detail on this building, and the copper cladding reminds one of the old days.

Stumbled upon this building whilst looking for the Transamerica Pyramid and was more impressed with this than the former. It's location right by the Transamerica Pyramid represents a beautiful juxtaposition between old and new.

Well, actually it's not a place of interest at all:) But it's one of the most unexpected and attractive "view point" in San Francisco!!! Future and Past meet. The perfection of Geometry! The beauty of colors. I was just stuck there taking pictures. It has...More

The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds
of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian
ristorante come together to create the charming
neighbourhood of North Beach, once the stomping
grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of
North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always
suitable for younger visitors, few neighbourhoods in
the city exude as much European charm and style.
