The last and saddest stop on this tour. This is a lovely last resting place. Just makes it more haunting after listening to how traumatic the entire battle was on the last day of their life.

We stopped here as the last stop on the tour. It is very pretty and only Union soldiers are buried here. Not overly large so it can be seen pretty quick.

We visited the cemetery as part of the battlefield tour, well laid out, makes you realize how many people lost their lives.

This is another piece of interesting history. The grounds are well kept and there is a lot of information available to gain an understanding of the park without an interpretive ranger.

The last stop on the battlefield driving tour, it leaves you with a feeling of sadness and loss for all of the Union soldires who rest there. A must see.

This would be the last stop on the CD car Tour, and appropriately so. Many lost their lives in this battle, and it is said that more men lost their lives in one day at Antietam, than ANY other battle. This cemetery is beautifully gated,...More

This is outside the battlefield area but don't miss it. It has bathrooms available. Right along the highway in town.

How much can you say it is a cemetary. It is an opening experience when you see in person the toll the civil war took. How many young men lost their lives. It gives you pause and hopefully motivation to strive for peace.
