What an amazing park! If you have the ability do all the hikes, even if takes you a little longer to complete each one, do it. We travelled with our teenage daughter in February and did all the hikes but ran out of time before walking Park Avenue. We carried traction devises with us but only needed them for the last part of Delicate Arch. Poles were nice on the upward hike of Delicate Arch but we didn't need them anywhere else and they weren't required. Watching the required video before going into the Fiery Furnace taught us a lot about the biological soil crust. After learning this it was sad to see how many people were walking on it. We felt the park didn't do a great job educating the general visitor so please learn about this and stay on rock and washes while you're in the park.

    Amazing place
Really scenic, amazing place to go. Can get very crowded at times...go early as its open 24/7. Make sure you take the relatively short walks to some of the arches that can't be seen from the road.

    Amazing Views around every corner
Arches is absolutely named correctly. Spectacular views just from the scenic road. Get off the road and hike to some of the features and you will not be disappointed. The park does get busy, so make sure to contact them ahead of time to see if reserved entry times are needed. Dawn and sunset are amazing!

    Awesome Arches
This was my second visit. First for rest of family. Arrived early as heard lines can get long. No trouble getting in but it was getting busy already - mid March, week day and the crowds were there! VERY windy. Couple of the stops were tough as the sand was blowing in our faces. We did some walking and some hiking. Agreed that the fav spot for us was the double arch. Spent the most time there. Did not hike to the Delicate arch as the parking lot was full. Opted for the lower scenic viewing spot. Construction going on and the path was being redone so a little rough walking up it. Definitely not the same as being up and close to the arch but kids could say they saw it. Spent most of the day here. Came back 2nd day and visited a few spots we didnt get in the previous day. Wasnt a very long stay but when we left the park (mid morning) the cars were lined up to point that said 1 hr wait to enter.......

    My favorite national park!
Arches is by far my favorite national park that I have been to. The size of the arches is awesome and the formations are amazing. Even though the temperature was over 100 degrees, I hiked around the arches for great views and pictures. Absolutely a must see if you are in Southern Utah!

    Beautiful place to visit
Utah is beautiful!! Moab is quite the fun place to go see and stay. Lots of great hotel/motels. Rode the Colorado river in a raft. Tons of fun. Hummer ride on Hell's Revenge was scary but very exciting. A great place for family fun. Lot sof good eats as well.

    Totally amazing in every way
This is a must do for your family!! There was not a bad view from anywhere we saw the entire half day their! When we got to the park around lunch time, we were admitted but soon found out off 4/1-10/31 you would have to make a reservation on line and would be given a time limit in the park. Thankfully we arrived 3 days before that started. We made the hike up and around to Delicate Arch which was magnificent in its own way! Worth it all right their! You can see soooo much from the road or just stopping at the turn offs and stretching your legs. Totally love this place and so glad we made the hike. Hope to return again someday

    Wow
We did not have this time entry ticket. But, we had no problem getting the ticket right at 6pm the night before. It’s April and there are a lot of spring break families but we didn’t have a problem. If you go before 7 am or after 4 pm you don’t need this ticket. We were very leery about this entry ticket but……..we loved it. Less crowds, easy parking, no stress. Not sure how the ticket works at peak season June,July. Park is fabulous you can read everyone’s remarks.

    Wonderful place to explore
The highlight was climbing up and into Double Arches, but we had a wonderful time exploring Delicate as well as some of the other arches. Even though it was busy, the park is big enough for you to find your space and to enjoy. Plan your visit accordingly to weather. A must visit when in/around Moab!

    One of the best parks
This was my third trip to Moab and Arches National Park. The area is one of my favorites with many parks and federal lands to explore. Arches is the jewel of the area and a must visit if your there. Wear comfortable shoes with good soles, especially if you’re not a steady walker. Dress in layers and always have water with you, especially in the summer months.

Amazing place that is so expansive it is hard to describe. There are so many different parts to this geological wonder inside and outside the actual park. Defiantly a fun place to hike, though in the less traveled winter we found the snowy trails hard to follow here and there as the markers are few and far between.

This place is magic. We visited once before in March many years ago. It was sweating scorching hot then. This time it was a cool 40 degrees, but absolutely delightful!

Arches is a beautiful park. Was not too crowded in late November and easy to drive and park there. The trails are good and maintained. You could see much of the park from the car without a lot of hiking. Everything was well marked with great explanations of the formations and how the were formed. Visitor's center was very nice.

Everyone should see this if you love the outdoors. The landscapes are amazing and many of the places to walk put you in great photo vistas. Bring you long lens.

Plan on lots of walking. Most of the trails are easy walks, some are moderate (delicate arch). Plenty to see and admire, lots of pull in observing spots. Parking lots fill up fast, we came in December, can’t imagine high tourist time. Most every spot had two sets of vault toilets but only one set was open. Lack of benches around park was noticeable as compared to other national parks. Although I’m sure a thankless job, the gate person was the same on both days and was very abrupt and just not the customer service oriented person I’ve seen at other parks, when I had a question. Gift shop well stocked and information center had multiple exhibits to look at

Visiting Arches National Park was truly one of the most awe-inspiring, humbling, amazing experiences of our lives. Arches was one of the focal points of our road trip through Colorado and Utah and it was more amazing than we could have ever imagined. We were ready for incredibly long lines and a crowded park, but there was a mudslide on I-70 and that blocked many people from getting to the park, so it was abnormally quiet. We were able to visit most of the big sites including Balanced Rock and Delicate Arch as well as many, many other small hikes. The Delicate Arch hike was one of the most fun hikes we've ever done and we'd do that again in a heartbeat. Make sure to bring lots of water as it's an exposed hike, sun protection, and make sure you have hiking shoes with good soles and you'll be fine.

Hiking through Arches is otherworldly and it's something we would highly, highly recommend to anyone who enjoys nature. It's just the best!

Pictures just don’t do it justice! This is such a beautiful and interesting place. The hiking was great and views spectacular. My favorite arch was Sand Dune Arch and favorite hike was Broken Arch because I didn’t encounter a single person. Everyone should visit Arches at least once!!!

What a fabulous place! I didn't really think I would like it but it is a sight to see and so glad I went. The best tip I can give is that we stopped in the park office and they "rented" us a USB with a wonderful audio guided tour. I think is was $5 with a $20 deposit that you get back when you return it. We were able to tour the park in one full day plus 1/2 day. We didn't make all the stops but most of them. Hiked the delicate arch (Stunning) and a few others. I think with the tour you could get most of it in with a few hikes in 2 days. We went early so we'd miss the heat and it was less crowded. Make sure to get your tickets ahead of time online if they are still doing timed entry. (way ahead if you want your choice of entry time as the earlier times are more popular) Also there was an issue when we checked in. The person who's name was used to buy the tickets needed a valid driver's license if I remember correctly.

First time there and I’m just excited to plan to come back! We only got the see like 8 arches out of all the ones they have. The scenic drive was one of the highlights too! Just driving and viewing all the beauty! Just a surreal experience

I visited Arches National Park in the Fall, and the weather was great for cool hikes throughout the three days I was there. Arches is one of the most enjoyable National Parks. The park offers several hiking trails ranging from easy to challenging. Be well prepared and planned to take on the challenging ones such as Fiery Furnace and Devils Garden trails. If not into much hiking, the park has several look out spots on the scenic drive from which several arches and rock features can be enjoyed with short walks. The geologic features in the park are absolutely stunning. During the peak season in the summer, Arches has timed entry requirements. Check out the park website for details.

Arches National Park is absolutely worth visiting. The nearby Moab is a wonderful gateway town.
