A spectacular view of the Rio Grande, just a short diversion away from Los Alamos. As someone who is a little anxious about heights I was generally okay with it.

It's in White Rock, NM (about 5 min drive from the visitor center where one visitors has to park to catch the shuttle into Bandelier NM) and a quick drive from Los Alamos. Has unobstructed, open views of the Rio Grande. Beautiful place. There are...More

A free and easy walk to a stupendous view. What could be better than that? Just type in the address in your Google Maps and you'll find it. After driving through relatively flat landscapes, this high view of the river is a welcome change.

This is a a great place to see the Rio Grande. The river lies very far down in the canyon. i love to go there just to remind myself how small I am in the great scheme of things and nature. Really beautiful!!

You definitely need navigation to find this overlook, as you drive through a residential neighborhood to get to it. But, it is fabulous. We saw a red tailed hawk flying below the look out...

This is a very quick stop, but the views are amazing up and down the valley. There aren't too many locations close to towns where you can see this distance without having buildings or telephone lines intrude on the view. You won't stop here long,...More
