This place is a natural wonder, a mini Grand Canyon shaped by the Rio Grande, which still flows amidst. An easy visit well worth the time, even for those who have difficulty walking (wheelchair-bound, etc.). Might be romantic, especially for geologist or paleo-scientific couples! Meanwhile,...More

It takes a bit to wind through residential streets to find this overlook. Well worth the trip. A beautiful spot with an unforgettable panoramic view.

Stop here on your way to Bandelier - you won't be disappointed! Beautiful panoramas and views of the Rio Grande. There's even a waterfall. Hold onto small children - no railings on the (short and wide) path.

Every stop around here legal to stop there's a great view to enjoy and behold. Imagining walking down through there in yucca fibre sandal's does not sound very fun.

Nice little overlook platform with a fantastic long distance view of the Rio Grande river gorge. The park is at the far edge of a residential neighborhood, so you wonder if you are going the right way. Once there, there's also a 2nd canyon with...More

Overlook is a spot you won't want to have missed. It seems impossible that it is just at the end of a road past some baseball fields in residential White Rock. The scenic view is at least 270 degrees as you stand observing the mountains,...More

This is a great spot to get a panoramic view of the country north of Santa Fe. The Rio Grande runs down below and the mountains near Taos are in the background. Take a lunch, enjoy the view!

I don't think so. From what I remember, we saw so much, it was a small area like a local park with just a path overlooking the scenery. I would look at the Los Alamos visitor website which Trip Advisor won't let be type in... More
