On our drive to the east side of the park, we encountered the Rio Grande Village area. This is the best camping place in Big Bend hands down!!! Green grass! Cool waters!! Nice folks! Really beautiful area!

Spend a week this past March at Big Bend and camped at Rio Grande Village for most of the stay...even though the weather was cooler than "normal" with highs in the 70s and lows in the 40s, it was a near perfect experience.
