A fun place to stop and see the smallest post office on the way from Marco Island to Miami or the other way.

Make sure to stop for a picture! The place is tiny and a real post office. Be sure to dine at Joanie's Bkue Crab cafe across the road!

This has a cool little story about the general store that burned down and this was built in it short notice, and has since been the post office. It's kind of cool to see the smallest post office in the country, and it won't take you but about 60 seconds to stop, look, take a picture, and head on down... More

The little post office with the big American flag. It is so worth the stop if you are in the neighborhood. I mailed post cards from there to get the historic post mark. The lot is big enough for a motor home. A great picture taking spot.

Fun to mail post cards from the smallest post office in the U.S.! It is easy to miss though, just east of Wootens Airboat & Everglades experience on the south side of the Tamiami Trail. Be sure to read the historical marker.

As a person retired from the British Post Office I found this unusual building for a post office fascinating. Not sure how it avoides robbery etc. Not good for security not sure where customers come from.

This is the smallest post office. 7×8 It's on US41 on the way to Everglades City. A quaint landmark and a quick stop.

Take just a few minutes to stop and send a postcard from here, & take a pic. See others posts for the limited hours they're open. You may want to bring a pre- stamped postcard to drop in the mailbox if they'll bd closed when you stop by.
