We hiked the most popular trails on a beautiful weekend in June and hardly saw anyone. The scenery of these trails are great, interesting vegetations and good wildlife, awesome geological exposure, and trails are well maintained. I highly recommend anyone to visit here instead of...More

The Big South Fork was a highlight of our week-long vacation. Yahoo Falls in the spring rain was fabulous! Yahoo arch was neat, too. Twin arches was fun -- to walk on the arches. But the best photo we got was from the East Rim...More

We were very impressed with the clean restrooms and showers at Bandy Creek and also the solitude and beauty of the twin arches hike. Only down side was people didn't keep their dogs on a leash which was difficult with our puppy on a leash.

This was our first visit to the area and we were amazed by how beautiful the scenery was. We have hiked Red River Gorge and the Gatlinburg area and this is just as nice sans the crowds. We did the Leatherwood Loop and the Bridge...More

Because of the large size of this Park, there is so much to see and do! There could be a few more trail signs in some areas. You could hike forever..... and I almost did in an area with no trail markers. Beautiful any time...More

Used google and went to the park headquarters turned out the arches were another hour away. The ranger said it happens all the time people don't realize how far the arches are because they don't realize how big the park is.

We did the twins arches hike and it was amazing. The arches rival my experience at Natural Bridges NM in Utah but without any crowds. This is an easy hike that we were able to do in about 1 hour with a toddler in tow....More

Big South Fork is a great alternative to the nearby Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which tends to be crowded in some areas. While BSF lacks the soaring heights of the Smokies, it has a very unique landscape that is full of waterfalls, arches, steep...More

Just booked campsite C015 in Loop C at Bandy Creek Campground. Has anybody ever seen this campsite? Is it level enough for two small tents? Also, is it in a good area of the campground or are there better campsites available?
