It really is amazing architecture. I remember as a child going up the winding staircase to the childrens library. Now it is a historical library but atm it is closed due to hurricane. I don't know if it is permanently closed.

The Library is located in an historical building that was carefully and beautifully renovated. The collections include historical records from the city, county. There are records from churches, individuals and business. The collection includes many very fine photographs. Additionally, there is a genealogical library with national and international information in great data bases.

This is a beautiful old church that was donated to Bmt. to use as a library. It was our only library for years. A big beautiful modern library is next door, but Tyrell's charm is worth the visit even if you do not have research.

Wow. This place is so cool! Not only is the building really old with amazing stained glass, but there is a plethora of books on history, genealogy items, and other historical objects. Just go visit. It's really cool.

This building originally was a church and then became the main Beaumont Library until they move to the current building; however, they have maintained historical records and books in this library. It is 2 floors and has plenty of tables and chairs for your convenience in reading and researching. Wonderful history. They are renovating the outside.
