Always interesting and unique exhibitions specific to the region. The permanent collection is awe-inspiring. There is even a cafe in the heart of the museum that serves DELICIOUS food. Definitely can make a day out of visiting this art museum.

This is a good collection for a small museum. Our group had two hours to explore this and a museum next to it. This was too much time. The museum can easily be seen in an hour (if you study every painting). The museum had a gift shop and cafe, but neither were open. That is tough when you just... More

Large and expensive building with an art collection that you can skim in five minutes. If you like it, you could spend thirty. There is some post-war abstract art that is ok and some recent things that are interesting. But that said, there isn't much to see.

Small art venue, with a mixture of different art forms. More suited for adults as I feel children will be bored. Nice employees, easy parking.

If you're in downtown Beaumont, the museum is worth a stop, especially for the architecture of the building. However, even at a slow pace, don't expect to spend more than an hour here.

The museum was a bit smaller than I expected, however we found it interesting. There was a variety of displays with interesting paintings and other art works. We found Felix "Fox" Harris, the artist what creates art from recycled material and scrap metal very interesting. There was no charge, but a request for donations at the door ( $5/adult, $2(?)... Was in town for business, walked over to museum for lunch. Magnolia Cafe is inside museum, it's small, great food and friendly people. Toured museum, friendly staff and enjoyed the art exhibits. We plan on visiting again.

Art Museum is a treasure in so many ways. Perfect atmosphere to browse, learn, host charity events and so much more. The icing on the proverbial cake is Two Magnolias located inside the museum itself. It is a treat any day! Check this out!!!

I have been here several times and I always leave a little disappointed. I guess I am comparing it to larger art museums in larger cities. However it is free so I guess it's worth it. I have never eaten in the cafe but it looks good. And they have a history of doing special projects with children. That part is... More
