Very beautiful estate but much too expensive and you all the time feel they want to take more like a family photo for 40'dollars and a lot of extras. Cheaper if bought online 7 days ahead of time and during weekdays.

We enjoyed our Saturday at the Biltmore Estate with our teenage children. We have waited until they were teenagers to take them and we were so glad that we did. We didn't think it's a place to take children under the age of probably 10 or so. The Biltmore is more like a museum...you can listen to the audio (well... More

Came to the Biltmore to experience the house and grounds. Tip- if you plan on visiting ahead of time purchase your tickets. There is a significant discount versus doing so the week of or on site. The Mansion and grounds are impressive and vast. It's several miles in between places to explore so plan to spend at least half a... More

We have been several times and are impressed. One of the few houses to be so European in design. Much of the art works are world class.

any time of the year. In Autumn though, the trees are ablaze with local color. The forest and lawns present the fauna and flora of the 1800s, while the house continues to surprise at every turn. Be sure to study the staircase in front. allow all day, maybe two to include inside and outside.

I can not begin to say how much I loved visiting the Biltmore Estate! From the moment you step on the property you are immediately in love! We visited during the winter "off season"....reasonable prices, free audio tour (Highly recommended), low crowds allowing for a nice, leisurely visit. Even in the winter, this place is stunning! We paid for an... More

I visit Biltmore every two or three years. It is always impressive and full of beauty. In addition to touring the house and gardens, I also very much enjoy the winery tour. Everyone should see this place!

We visited the Biltmore in early November while it was decked out for Christmas and opted for the self-guided tour. It is truly a fascinating and breathtaking place. The tour is worth every penny. Everything is well-organized, down to the parking. The attention to detail is so fine, there is not a speck of dust anywhere. And every staff member... More
