I have been here many times. I always seem to see something that I missed from the visit before. I love the wine tasting too. My favorite time to visit is during the Christmas holidays. Highly recommend!

Visited with a group midweek in early December. The home was not overly crowded and we were able to look at a leisurely pace. Christmas decorations were spread throughout the downstairs rooms with one or more decorated trees in most rooms. The audio tour would probably have added to our appreciation of the estate but we had not purchased it.... More

Visiting Biltmore on New Year's Day was a great choice. It was still decorated for Christmas and there were no crowds whenever we arrived early morning. We were able to enjoy the self guided tour at our leisure. The estate was absolutely gorgeous. We were able to get discounted tickets through AAA.

Absolutely stunning any time of year. We've been on Segway tours in the fall and toured the house at Christmas. Excellent audio tour is also available

Touring the mansion as well as the grounds is definitely worth it if you are in the Asheville area. We went to the Christmas time tour at night and went back the next day to see the grounds.

As a gift to ourselves for Christmas, my wife and I decided to see the Biltmore at Christmas. Having never been, I was blown away at how expensive tickets are at the Christmas season. However, I believe that for a once in a lifetime occasion, it was money well spent. The estate was beautifully decorated. As we entered the atrium,... More

There is nothing I can add to the many thousands of reviews. It is the ONLY place like it which I have seen outside of the Loire Valley and, certainly, the only place like it in North America. We have traveled twice from Alaska to visit it. Craftmanship on this scale needs to be seen to be appreciated. The grounds,... More

Get great pictures with a GoPro or wide angle camera. House is beautiful inside and out. We toured the week after Christmas and even though it was crowded, it went smoothly. Took us two hours on self guided tour just for the inside. We did not get listening devices on this visit. I would plan on around 4 hours total... More
