Audio tour did a great job of explaining each of the rooms and history of the house. Garden walking tour and waterfall walk was terrific as well. Great way to spend a day and finish up with wine tasting.

This is a great tour, but a bit overpriced. Definitely worth it to pay for the audio portion, which provides historical insights that enhance the tour. The gardens are nice, but the waterfall is manmade, not worth the long walk on a very warm day.

Mr. Vanderbilt proved he could build the finest house in America with this structure. It is stunning. I've seen his brother's house in Newport, RI, and while it is also beautiful, Biltmore takes the crown. Designed like a French chateau, one could imagine a French...More
