Beautiful architecture; really interesting story about how it was planned, designed, and built. Great art also, amazing vistas.

Watching the sunset behind this gorgeous estate gave way to Chihuly’s art glowing with light. It was a magical experience.

We have been to The Biltmore many times. None is more magical than Christmas. The grand estate is even more beautiful with poinsettias and Christmas Trees and the evening event with fireplaces roaring and the glow of candlelight is magical. A must do! Seeing the...More

Spent a day touring the house and grounds with our 11 year old. I think the management of the place does a good job keeping the huge number of visitors moving and informed. The grounds are well signposted wheather driving or walking. Gorgeous gardens and...More

Well organized history in olace -- visually stunning and easy to absorb the history of the time. The grounds are also remarkably beautiful and perfectly maintained, and the stable cafe was an excellent lunch stop. Must see when in the area.

This should have been a great experience, but it was much too crowded and not well run. I ordered tickets ahead of time - including a special Upstairs/Downstairs tour - and was told to pick up tickets at the separate Ticket Office. This took about...More

I went with 15 year old son. We had fun!! We stayed on estate grounds. Saw lots off fun for kids to do! The house is not kid friendly since a lot off people, roped areas and no air conditioning. But the grounds are! Bring... More

I believe I did see some lockers. If I’m remembering correctly I thought I saw them as your entering the house but it’s always safer to call up to see if they do have some for sure.
