This is one of my favorite spots, their beers are solid and the newly added non-beer options are great!! The NA sodas are made by one of brewers and are soooooo good. It’s the place where everyone knows my name and I love it.

Thank you so much for your review. We welcome all types of feedback on our customer’s experiences but are particularly happy to receive this type of review. Thank you being a patron of the French Broad River Brewery.
I've now tried 18 of the area breweries while traveling there on business weekly and this one ranked last in my opinion. Someone earlier hit many of the issues already, nobody acknowledges you when you go in, no menu, no idea of where to order...More

As the owner of the French Broad River Brewery, I appreciate you stopping by to visit. I am sorry to hear your experience did not meet your standard and will certainly take the feedback that you have provided. We are aware of certain improvements/investments that...More
We visited the French Broad River Brewery as part of our Asheville Brews Cruise. I give it a four-star rating not for the brewery experience but for the beers we tasted. This is the only brewery of four where we actually purchased six-packs of their...More
Decent tasting beer does not compensate for the pushing out of active, local art scenes. There are about fifty breweries in Asheville already who are *actually* local, not out-of-towners coming in and out placing artists, whose beer is as good and probably better. I urge...More
We wanted to visit French Broad while in town. It was a little hard to find but we found it. What a neat little place! I was excited to get the Rye Hopper Ale and we got a growler to go. There was live music....More
Arrived in town and wanted some local "flavor" and saw there was a duo called the Casmonautz playing at FBRB. First impressions when walking in is this is a serious brewers hobby with a few tables for friends to hang out. That said, it works...More
We were brewery hopping and heard about this place so we stopped in for a pint. The place is small but since the weather was nice we sat outside and chatted up with some locals. I'm sure we'll be back because the beer was good,...More
We were very surprised to see that something that is part of Biltmore Village is not only scary looking, but pretty much was useless to us. We walked out because when we walked in, the person at the bar never acknowledged us. There was no...More
