We did the brunch tour on a Saturday morning. Stu was awesome. He was just as much a historian and architecture expert as he was a food critic. The food spots he brought us to were fantastic too. Tons of good food, a couple of cocktails and friendly, inviting and informative owners. A very diverse sampling of types of cuisines... More

What a great way to experience the culinary variety available in Asheville these days. Over the space of almost four hours, our guide Paddy took us to 8 different spots to try different foods and drinks. We did the downtown tour, but my understanding is that it doesn't go to the same places every time, so here's the list of... More

We had THE best time on the Asheville Food Tour. Go hungry and wear good walking shoes. I don't even know how many places we visited - 9?- with a delicacy ready and waiting for us at each spot. Asheville has so many good places to eat! We would likely not have found them without Stu's excellent, well-planned tour. He... More

This was my first food tour and I was very anxious just because I am very picky eater. Our tour guide (paddie) was tremendous, while we walked from restaurant to restaurant he filled us in on the history and historic buildings in downtown Asheville. We went to 9 stops in total and at each stop we tried a different cuisine... More

As a culinary class we had an opportunity to travel to Asheville and experience the Asheville Food Tour. Our tour guide, Paddie showed us so much history there was to downtown Asheville. We had a chance of visiting over 7 different restaurants and meeting and talking with many of the entrepreneurs and employees in the area. He had so much... More

The food was excellent and it was insightful learning about of the history of Asheville. The food was really good but the best part of the trip was the tour guide Paddy, he had a great personal and was just a real enthusiastic and eccentric person. It was a lot of fun and the way he was able to bring... More

This was an amazing food tour! It was not only a food experience, It was a learning experience. You learned about some of the buildings and why the owners choose to do the resturants. While some of the food I didn't like I still tried it and enjoyed myself. Mr. Paddy was an amazing tour guide and I'm glad to... More

It is one of the best parts of the tour when people are willing to try food that may be off their regular tastes. Thank you for your kind compliments. Hope to see you on a future tour. More

This food tour was amazing. We did this as a field trip. There were so many different restaurants that we stopped at. Each dish was very unique. Even though I did not enjoy all the options I still tried them and surprisingly I liked most of them. Paddy made this such an amazing experience. He really engaged with us during... More
