There are two buildings to the farmers market and the buildings seem oddly similar to one another. It seems like there are only a few places selling vegetables, with nuts, local made items, and other odds and ends mixed in. The place we really seemed...More

This place is amazing, split into different areas and lots of local farmers selling local produce. We loved it and would recommend to all foodies.

Great place for local fresh produce and preserved edibles. The garden center has high end, unique garden items, plants and trees that you just don't find at other garden centers or big box centers. The koi pond out back is a must see!

We went in thinking that this would be a big, local produce experience and left feeling like it was mostly larger farming operatives. I am accustomed to small farmer's markets where local produce is at the forefront with an emphasis on unique goods. We came...More

It is a great place for the unusual or a bushel of produce in the bottom. The only negative was we were a little early and not a lot of vendors were there. They tell me the weekend is much better. I bought a bushel...More

Several buildings filled with an incredible selection of plants. I am not a gardener but still found it inspiring and interesting. Also fruit for sale. Gorgeous strawberries, HUGE watermelons, cantaloupes. The building with preserved meat, honey, crafts was not so appetizing and didn't have much...More

It says it is open seven days a week at 8. We went on a Sunday morning at 9. It was open, but barely. I wish I lived closer. I would have bought some fresh veggies and plants. Still enjoyed walking through it.

We weren't there to buy food, but instead to kill time on a very rainy day. There was lots to look at and the vendors were all friendly. The produce looked great! The garden shop prices were at least 50% higher than what we're used...More

There are few places where you will find so many different types of southern specialties as you will here. From country ham to fruit pies, they seem to have it all. It's a treat just to walk and look at the items. We've been here...More

Yes a select few sell organic items. I also suggest ALDI on River Road in Asheville for organic foods. They have a good selection as well as good prices.
