We enjoyed spending 30-45 minutes here appreciating the hand-craftmanship displayed and for sale here at the Fork Art Center. It's a lovely building in a beautiful setting. Well worth the turn off of the parkway! And one might find a treasure among the craftwork.

Seeing both attractions is certainly doable in one day. Start with the Folk Art Center which is self guided and can be done easily in one hour. From there go NW on the Blue Ridge Parkway and see part of the wonderful... More
