We took two tours: the self-guided "house tour", with an audio stick, and a guided "upstairs-downstairs tour", where we saw servant's quarters, the bedrooms for the guests, and Mr. and Mrs. Vanderbilt. The guided tour was fantastic, and we learned all sorts of small things...More

I have finally gotten around to submitting my review of Biltmore Gardens from my visit last summer. We were SO lucky to have happened to visit during the Chihuly Exhibit. It was truly beautiful. I hope you enjoy my pictures.

We went during the winter and this place still didn't disappoint. The conservatory was filled with exotic flowers and plants. I loved it and will be going back in the spring!

This is a must see while at the Biltmore, very short walk from the main house. Some of the most beautiful flowers/plants/ trees you will ever see.

Even as fall departs the grounds are beautiful and well thought out and maintained by the fifth generation of Vanderbilt’s. Over 8000 aches. Don’t miss the orchid house.

We were constantly amazed at the beautiful grounds and views. The house is spectacular. It's a trip we've talked about for awhile and I'm so happy we finally made it happen!

Sorry have only visited in October. The house is worth visiting in December even if the grounds are not as exciting.
